Acceptance of Terms
- By enrolling in SMARI Institute programs, you agree to these Terms of Service
- These terms apply to all students, applicants, and website users
- We may update these terms periodically with notice to users
- Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms
Educational Services
- SMARI provides Level 1 diploma programs in various fields
- Course content, schedules, and requirements may change as needed
- We strive to maintain high educational standards and quality
- Completion certificates are awarded upon meeting all program requirements
Student Responsibilities
- Regular attendance and active participation in classes
- Completion of assignments and assessments on time
- Respectful behavior towards staff, faculty, and fellow students
- Payment of tuition and fees according to agreed schedules
- Compliance with academic integrity and institutional policies
Tuition and Payments
- Tuition fees are due according to the payment schedule agreed upon enrollment
- Late payments may result in suspension of services or additional fees
- Refunds are available according to our refund policy within specified timeframes
- All fees are quoted in Ugandan Shillings unless otherwise specified
Academic Policies
- Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Plagiarism and academic dishonesty may result in dismissal
- Attendance requirements must be met for successful program completion
- Grade appeals must be submitted within specified timeframes
Limitation of Liability
- SMARI's liability is limited to the fees paid for educational services
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Students participate in activities at their own risk
- We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for institutional operations
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal from SMARI Institute:
Dispute Resolution
Step 1: Direct Discussion
Attempt to resolve issues through direct communication with relevant staff
Step 2: Formal Complaint
Submit written complaint to administration for formal review
Step 3: Mediation
Neutral mediation if direct resolution is not achieved
